Al Lima, author of Preserving Community Character: A Citizen’s Guide to Saving Place and Halting Urban Sprawl, will be coming to Bolton this fall for a talk and book signing.
The program will held at the library on Tuesday, September 14, at 7 p.m. in the Program Room. Mark your calendar in advance if interested, it could well be a popular program!
The event will be co-hosted by the Bolton Public Library, Bolton Local, and the Bolton Historical Commission. Watch for announcements shortly.
For those with good memories, Lima also researched and wrote the Preservation Plan for the Town of Bolton back in 1998, under the leadership of the Historical Commission. He is familiar with the town. The Preservation Plan is available online on the Town website, on the Historical Commission page.
His appearance and the important discussion around the future of the Smith property is a coincidence.
