Fall is the best time of year in New England, in my view. And as if that weren’t good enough, here in Bolton we also have, at the same time, Apple Season!—a time when the area, with its many orchards, becomes a destination for weeks each year. Pictured above is a hillside of apple trees between Wilder Road and Old Bay Road, part of the 250-acres of Davis Farm/Bolton Orchards holdings. For a better view, click on the picture to enlarge. There are many places in Bolton to pick, buy, and eat. Support local farms. Apples taste just as good in the rain as they do in the sun!
